What do you think India should enter quarter finals. If you are an Indian it is obvious you expect this. Mr Dhoni and company has brought this situation. India may be out of this world cup at this leage stage. Strange ? but true.
Have a look at the current point tally on the right. India is in the top of the list in group B. But Mr dhoni and company it is hsame to you and to all of us. We are one of the biggest country and we have a big cricket playing organisation (BCCI). At least money wise it is big in the world.
Well, the number one status in this tally is very short lived one. There is a situation where team India shall hold 5th position and shall not find a berth in quarter finals. lol, this is Indian Team.
Wait and watch these matches:
1. Bangladesh vs South Africa : If Bangladesh wins it will reserve its berth in
quarter final.Bangladesh shall have 8 points.
2. England vs WestIndies : If England wins it will increase its chance in
quarter final.England shall have 7 points.
3. South Africa vs Ireland : If South Africa wins it will reserve its berth in
quarter final.England shall have 8 points.
4. WestIndies vs India : If WestIndies wins it will reserve its berth in
quarter final.WestIndies shall have 8 points.India
shall have 7 points.
Just have a look India and England shall have a tie. So NRR shall come in to the picture. Have a look at the NRR of these two teams at the present stage. India at +0.768 and England at +0.013. So you may think India has better chance. A great team (world cup aspirer ?) shall rely on NRR to enter quarter finals (how pathetic?).
If West indies beats India with a very high margin and England beats WestIndies with a very high margin then there is a chance that India's NRR shall fall below that of England and India is out.
If you are Indian pray god who shall help Dhoni and Company so that the above don't happens to them.
